After a summer of intense racing, the final round of the 52 Super Series touched down in the stunning Marjorcan resort of Puerto Portals, fired up and ready to decide the overall Series rankings at one the most visited venues on the Series.

Drama already in Race One then, but race two would provide an unwelcome sequel – as a bunched up fleet sought to gain from a biased start line.  A potentially Series defining moment was unfolding at the committee boat end, title hopefuls Platoon involved in a three boat collision with Gladiator and Sled.
