Live: Golden Fly Series 2024 in Innsbruck
LAAX Highline World Championships 2022
Laax in Switzerland was the host for the first ever Highline World Championships in the History of the Slackline Sport. At an altitude of 2252 meters above sea level on top of the mountain Crap Sogn Gion, 31 athletes from all over the world competed in the categories Speedline Highline and Freestyle Highline. While men and women performed their tricks separately in Freestyle, in the discipline Speed Highline they ran their fastest times without gender separation. Three 63-meter-long lines with different tensions, due to different body weights, were available to the athletes for Freestyle, for the Speed Highline contest two parallel 100-meter-long lines were installed at the same tension, on which they had to run a 60m segment.
