The world elite in pole vault and long jump will be back in Innsbruck’s sparkling mile Maria-Theresien-Straße with an outdoor track & field spectacle. The athletes will compete for important world ranking points to qualify for the World Championships in Tokyo on the WA-certified largest mobile athletics facility in the world, “The FlySwat™”. The cult event in Innsbruck will once again be honoured as the World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger and will also represent the epicentre of the athletics in-city-scene as the traditional “home base” of the Golden Fly Series.
The field of world-class athletes includes top-tier competitors such as US-American pole vaulters Zachery Bradford, currently ranked No. 8 in the world, and Austin Miller, who holds the No. 9 spot. Among the women, Finland’s Elina Lamapela—who finished fourth at the 2025 European Indoor Championships—is considered a strong favorite.
In the men’s long jump, Emiliano Lasa from Uruguay and Namibia’s Chenoult Lionel Coetzee are expected to battle it out for the win. Dutch Paralympic champion and world record holder Joel De Jongis aiming to set new personal bests in the men’s long jump as well. Meanwhile, Brazil’s Leticia Oro Melo and Lissandra Campos are set to go head-to-head in the women’s long jump, promising an exciting showdown.
