The 2016 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup jumps over the Pyrenees from La Seu D’Urgell to Pau for the third in a series of five events.
This is the fourth time Pau hosts a Slalom World Cup event after 2009, 2012 and 2015.

Seven World Cup events in Pau have been won by France. No country has won more than two events in Pau.

Last year, Pierre-Antoine Tillard (FRA, C1M) and Emilie Fer (FRA, K1W) won in Pau.
