The Allianz regatta Medemblik marks the return of the World Cup series, where multiple Olympic classes compete at the same event. It’s the first since the global Coronavirus outbreak in 2020 with nearly 300 sailors from 47 countries registered seven of the ten Olympic classes were racing as competitors begin to get back to competition ahead of Tokyo 2020.

The classes are divided into 2 groups over 2 weeks – the Ilcas 6 and 7’s, RSX men’s and women’s and mixed multihull Nacra17s in week one. The 49er and 49er FX in week two.
