The field starts on Passage de Gracia, the Major Avenue of shopping, business and stunning architecture as they head towards the Bull Rink first and then it’s back towards what is some amazing sights. This is Sagrada Familiar still under construction, as then they head towards the Port De Bac De Rade Bridge linking the Sant Andreu and Marti districts. It’s then back towards another Gaudi masterpiece in the La Pedrera and also Casa Batllo and it’s heading back around towards the University of Barcelona at the 19 kilometre point. Fast running on this newly developed course from last year, past Mercat De Ninot and then it’s the Monument a Colom that points out to sea. We then heads down towards the Mediterranean sea at the beachfront with the Port Olympic and it’s Parc Del Forum and then heading up with the Torrie’s Glories shining bright in front of them as they then snake round the course, getting great support from the masses that will be going back on their journey and then the iconic finish. It’s through the Arch De Triomf, completed in 1888 for the Barcelona World Fair and today it’s the stunning finish line of the 2025 Zurich Barcelona Marathon.
