World Final of Red Bull Four 2 took place on August 4th and 5th in Leipzig, Germany. 26 teams from 17 nations, from South Korea to the USA, Kuwait to Finland, Brazil and Germany with mixed and female teams fought for the first world title in this tournament
One of the teams that took home one of the coveted Red Bull Four 2 Score trophies was the mixed team from Austria, who secured an impressive 4-0 victory against South Korea in the final match of the tournament. Meanwhile, the women’s team from the USA claimed victory with a narrow 1-0 win against Germany.
Final match summary:
In the men´s final FC Red Bull Salzburg starts the game with a lot of power and takes the lead in the 4th minute. Kenan Sejdic scores the first goal. In the 9th minute Salzburg extends the lead. Dilan Mojica scores the 2:0 in a one on one with a nice trick. 10 seconds before the end, South Korea tries again with a free kick, but the ball lands on the opponent’s leg and Kenan Sejdic only has to push it into the goal from a distance. Salzburg wins 4:0 in the end.
In the women´s final Germany create good chances in the first minutes. With dominant control of the game, they keep the ball in their own ranks, but USA remains dangerous with long-range shots. In the 7th minute, Lena Güldenpfennig cannot put the ball in the net after a ball roll three meters left of the goal. In the 9th minute, a rebound lands right at the feet of Jordan Rowan. She only has to push the ball in and USA wins with 0:1.
